What we sell
Packaged turmeric powder, whole black pepper and arrowroot powder, and a box containing one of each. Everything is grown in Kerala, India.
These are agricultural products. Colour, aroma and coarseness vary between harvests, and between one pack and the next within a harvest. That is the nature of the thing rather than a defect, and we would rather say so here than argue about it later. Net weight is as stated on the pack.
Prices and GST
Prices are in Indian rupees and include GST. Nothing is added to them at checkout: the amount you are asked to pay is the prices shown plus any delivery charge, always shown in full before you pay it. The GST contained in the price is itemised on your invoice.
Delivery is charged according to the shipping and delivery policy and is shown at checkout before payment.
We may change prices at any time. The price that applies to your order is the price shown when you place it, and we will not charge you more than that afterwards. If a price is listed wrongly — a clear error rather than a price we have changed our mind about — we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than supply at that price, and we will tell you why.
Placing an order
An order you place is an offer to buy. A contract exists when we confirm the order, not when you submit it. We may decline an order, and if we do we refund anything already paid in full. Reasons we would decline include: the item is no longer available, the delivery address is outside India or cannot be reached, the price was listed in error, or we have reason to think the order is fraudulent.
Online payment is not yet enabled on this site. Until it is, no order can be placed or paid for here, and nothing on these pages should be read as an offer we are currently able to accept.
Availability
The stock state shown on the site is our best information at the moment you look at it, and it is not a guarantee. Where it says availability could not be checked, it means exactly that. If we cannot supply something you have paid for, see the refunds and cancellation policy.
Cancellation, returns and refunds
Set out in full in the refunds and cancellation policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: you may cancel free of charge at any time before dispatch; an opened pouch of food cannot be returned; and anything that arrives damaged, leaking, incorrect or past its date is replaced or refunded.
Your account
If you create an account, keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us if you think somebody else has them. We may suspend or close an account that is being used for fraud or abuse.
Using this site
Use the site for what it is for. Do not attempt to break into it, overload it, scrape it wholesale, or interfere with anybody else’s use of it. The text, images and design of this site belong to us; you may not reproduce them commercially without our permission.
Our liability
We do what we say on these pages, and we take responsibility when we get it wrong. To the extent Indian law permits, our liability arising out of an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, and under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected by anything written here.
Things outside our control
We are not liable for a delay or failure caused by something genuinely outside our control — a natural event, a strike, a delivery network failure, or an act of government. Where that happens we will tell you, and you may cancel and take a full refund of anything not delivered.
Grievance officer
Complaints go to a named person, as the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 require:
- Grievance officer
- P P Manoj, proprietor
- Address
- 1/469, PalayadMelur, PinarayiKannur, Kerala 670661India
- How to reach them
- Through the contact page, marking your message for the grievance officer.
We acknowledge a complaint within 48 hours of receiving it and resolve it within one month. Nothing in this section affects your right to take a complaint to a consumer forum.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Kannur, Kerala have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it, and the date at the top of this page tells you when this version was last reviewed.
